VALENCIA LAND OF PAELLA 6 days
|
The Valencia region is the birthplace of paella - the most popular and internationally recognised dish of Spanish cuisine. Our 2,000-year-old city, one of Spain’s oldest, was founded by retired Roman soldiers who were granted land by Caesar as a reward for their bravery. With the best weather in Spain and fewer crowds than you’ll find in Barcelona to the north or Alicante to the south, it rewards visitors with its abundant produce, friendly people, and plentiful sunshine.
During your paella cooking holidays with us, you will see how seriously we Valencian people, take our food heritage. You will participate in the most Valencian foodie activities, including culinary visits and cooking classes, both in the bustling city and in its fertile surrounding lands. |
oin us for three hands-on paella cooking classes set in both the vibrant city of Valencia and the stunning Lake Albufera, surrounded by its traditional rice paddies. You’ll learn to master the authentic paella valenciana, the classic seafood paella, and the rich and delicious black rice (arroz negro).
Between classes, you’ll discover more of Spain’s rich culinary heritage:
