Massive Seafood Nights - Sunday 24th February 5pm to 9pm
Lee Bourne and John Long from Bourne's fishmongers in Highbury London and Xavier Meroño chef founder at London Paella School will redefine your culinary dining experience with this fantastic 'Massive Seafood Night'.
To start, Lee and John will break myths about oysters and teach us all about this wonderful shellfish: varieties of oysters, how to shuck and the eating etiquette. All of this, tasting three oysters from Maldon, Colchester and Carlingford-Ireland and we will pair with 'Anna de Codorniu' Cava PDO.
Then Xavier will teach us all about to cook proper seafood paella with 'Illa de Riu' award winning Bomba rice, learning how to prepare the ingredients, how to cook a fast fish stock and how to finish a perfect 'socarrat'. Also we will learn how to prepare a delicious 'clams in green sauce'.
With our finished seafood paellas and clams we will seat down in the communal table and we will enjoy of all cooked food plus some tapas: 'calamares a la andaluza', razors shell with Mary sauce and 'Ajillo' king prawns. We will pair this yummy menu with 'Viña Pomal' white , a Viura and Malvasia grapes wine from La Rioja PDO
