Where you’re going to stay One Shot Palacio Reina Victoria hotels is set in a classical style building built in 1910 by the Valencian architect Luis Ferreres Soler. This historic building was the first hotel in the city of Valencia. Celebrities like Ernest Hemingway, Jacinto Benavente, Federico Garcia Lorca and Robert Capa stayed at this hotel and they found inspiration for their novels and projects within its walls.
The unbeatable location and its unique communication have always made the Reina Victoria the reference hotel in Valencia: it is just 50 meters from Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Town Hall Square), and a few steps from Norte railway station, Valencia bullring arena, the Cathedral and the main streets and shopping areas of the city. ITINERARY
Day-1 Friday. bienvenidos! Transfers from airport and station and your first paella and tapas cooking class
Our transfer will meet you at Valencia Airport or Joaquin Sorolla train station at morning. We will take you to the hotel accommodation. Welcome reception with a cocktail followed by Mercat Central food market tour to purchase all ingredients for our two cooking class and to have a Tapas wine/beer break at popular market bar 'Central Bar' . Then your first Seafood Paella and Tapas cooking class followed by a lunch with all cooked dishes pairing with local wines. After a relax time we will go to enjoy a Flamenco Show tapas dinner with wine at 'La Bulería'.
Day-2 Saturday Explore the town and then your second Paella and tapas cooking class
Following breakfast, spend the morning exploring stunning old town and visit to City of Arts and Sciences . Then we will go to La Albufera lake, the birthplace of Paella to have your second cooking class. Wood-fire Paella Valenciana followed of a lunch with all food cooked. Then a boat trip to explore the lake. Back to hotel to have a relax and then we will go to dinner at iconic deli shop restaurant El Colmado de la Lola front to El Micalet, the Cathedral Tower at old town.
Day-3 sunday. transfers to airport or station. hasta pronto!
After breakfast and some time to relax, our transfer will collect you and take you back to Valencia Airport for your flight home or train station Joaquin Sorolla.
